But in my case, it's a reverse - One day I was out, the next day I was in.

For those who didn't know, my position at CHE was made redundant recently, approximately a month ago. This is due to lost of a major account I worked on. The funny side - I sort of knew it was coming. It was sad though, I really enjoyed working there. Great bunch of people, especially those I've got the opportunity to work with. Even the management (which in most cases suck) was awesome.

The support from everyone was amazing, especially from those I worked with at CHE. Everyone was offering to be my referee. Some even offered to email their contacts, asking if anyone is looking for an Art Director. The support I got was very humbling. I won't name names, you know who you are.

So, after a week counting the hours at home, I got a phone call from AJF Partnership, offering me a freelance position which might lead into full time. I took it of course, I've heard a lot of great things about AJF.

It has now almost a month freelancing here, finished 3 major campaigns for Kathmandu. I'm pleased to say, the team is happy with what I presented so I think I can say I might be here for a little longer. It would be awesome if I the offer for a full time position though. Even though the money in freelancing is good, I prefer stability.

Now, when I write something about, say, the Chinese, I will get accused of generalising. I will be told that it is unfair of me to paint all Chinese with the same brush. This may be true of certain Chinese. This may be true of MCA Chinese. But not all Chinese are like that. Those who are like that are the minority. The majority are not like that.

Apparently, not generalising is something that only I must not do. It is okay for you to generalise. And I must not do this specifically when I talk about the Chinese. We must not generalise about only the Chinese. When it comes to Malays or members of the royal family then it is okay to generalise. In fact, it is a must, it is good that we generalise.

It may have escaped that pea-brain of yours that 49% of the Malays voted opposition in the last general election in March 2008 (more if you exclude the postal and phantom voters) while more than 50% of the members of the royal family support the opposition. Yes, more than 50% of the members of the royal family support the opposition, idiots!

Anyway, just so that you know, I knew what you would comment if I published that news report on the member of the Johor royal family beating up that rapper. I intentionally published it to see what type of responses we would get. My purpose was to show you what hypocrites many of you are. And I was right. You responded the way I thought you would.

Do you think that your racist, anti-Malay-anti-royalty attitude is going to help Pakatan Rakyat in the coming general election? And you grumble when you can’t seem to get 60% or 65% of the Malays to vote opposition. You are not happy that Pakatan Rakyat cannot garner more than 50% of the Malay vote. Are the Malays the problem? Or are you the problem?

I consider myself a liberalist Malay. I support the rights of LGBTs (lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people) -- something even Christians cannot accept, so don’t talk about Muslims. I support the rights of Muslims to leave Islam -- a no-no for the majority of Malays-Muslims. So that makes me amongst the minority.

Yet, how liberal I may be, I still consider most Malaysia Today readers as racists and bigots, in particular the non-Malay readers. If I can think like that what do you think the more conservatist and fundamentalist Malays-Muslims are thinking?

Yes, maybe the Malays-Muslims are not the problem. Maybe you are the problem. Have you ever thought of that? Have you ever thought that, as I have been saying time and again, that your foul-mouths are pushing the Malays-Muslims away? Do you really expect more than 50% of the Malays to vote Pakatan Rakyat and more than 50% of the members of the royal family to support the opposition when you have such foul-mouths?

And I am both -- I am both Malay and a member of the royal family. And if I am angry how do you think the other Malays are feeling? And you want us to support the opposition and vote Pakatan Rakyat when we are angry about your attitude? Why should we allow Pakatan Rakyat to take power when you opposition people think poorly of the Malays and the royal family?

Hey, those Malays in the corridors of power may be corrupted. Those Malays who support those in the corridors of power who are corrupted may also be corrupted. Sure, we may all be corrupted, but that does not make us stupid. In fact, to be corrupted and still hold on to power means you must be very clever. Stupid people can’t do that, especially not for 55 years and maybe another 55 years to come.

Don’t make the mistake of underestimating our intelligence just because we happen to be Malays. You want the support of the Malays and members of the royal family then learn how to win the hearts and minds of the people you want to win over. Thus far you are not doing a very good job at it.

**Who is threeA?

threeA is a company founded by Kim Fung Wong and Ashley Wood.

Kim Fung Wong (also known as threezero) is co-owner of ThreeA and toy designer located in Kowloon, Hong Kong who has been designing 1/6th scale toys and vinyl toys for well over a decade. He began toy designing as an independent artist until he founded his own company and began collaborating with friends in the same field.

Ashley Wood is an award winning illustrator who worked for many years in both the U.K. and international comic book worlds (working on characters such as the British icon Judge Dredd),before breaking into the U.S. market where he worked for such companies as Marvel and DC. Wood later worked for Imagecreating graphic novels and cover art for the various Spawn properties of Todd McFarlane. More recently, he has been pursuing projects with IDW Publishing.

We got a Mogwai for Easter!

Well well well. For those who isn't on Facebook, I've got news for you. We got another puppy! Mogwai is a 7 week old Staffy X Maltese boy.

He is a tiny little boy but definitely not small in personality and aggression. Lol. Initially, we named him Opie, after one of the character in Sons of Anarchy. But we quickly changed our mind after spending more time with him.

When he met Ruckus, Ruckus was all over him, licking and sniffing. Mogwai quickly got annoyed, snarls and snaps at Ruckus (even though Ruckus is 10 times the size of him). Instantly, the image of the little girl in Exorcist popped in my head. The line, "Your mother sucks cxxx" popped in my head. LOL. bad I know.

Immediately, more names came in mind. LB as in Linda Blair (the actress in Exorcist), Gremlins, Mogwai, Tassie (as in Tasmanian Devil) etc. We ended up with Mogwai (the little cute creature in Gremlins) - he is all cute, quiet and adorable when he is lying in our arms but when Ruckus get a bit rough or licked him a bit longer than he wanna be licked, he snaps and snarls, almost he'd changed into a demon of some kind. His ears are way bigger than usual (again, another reason why Mogwai).

In Chinese, Mogwai means evil ghost or evil demon (Mor Kuai). I reckon the name suits him perfectly.

At this young age, he already developed a leading attitude. Ruckus, even though he is so much bigger in size, is already following Mogwai's lead in doing things. When Mogwai drinks, Ruckus drinks. When Mogwai eats, Ruckus eats. Mogwai eats from Ruckus's bowl and Ruckus didn't even complain. The pecking order was clear. Mogwai will grow up to be the boss.

KONY 2012

Tens of thousand of Australians have joined a global cause to make a mass-murdering African military leader "famous" so he can be brought to justice.

Joseph Kony is not famous yet, but an American film-maker has set out to change that with a new documentary titled KONY 2012 that has been viewed more than four million times in the last two days on the internet.

The ruthless leader of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) in Uganda, Africa, Kony and his killers have abducted more than 30,000 children from their families, forcing young boys to murder their parents and become child soldiers and the girls to work as sex slaves.

Poster campaign .... cities all over the world will be plastered on April 20.

It's been happening for almost 30 years. On Wednesday March 7, the video below, produced by the humanitarian group Invisible Children, began being passed around Australian internet users.

It is a remarkably emotive piece of film-making, but the social media campaign that has run in tandem with the film is what has "changed the rules".

Get this guy. This year.

Its aim is to raise global awareness of Kony - to make him famous - "not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice".

As the filmmaker Jason Russell explains, less than one per cent of the world knows who Kony is, however, if people knew what he had done, they would demand action.

"The dream would be for Kony to be captured, not killed, and brought to the International Criminal Court to face trial, says Russell, not surprising considering Kony is the most wanted man in the world according to the ICC.

"The world would know about his crimes and they would watch the trial play out on an international level, seeing a man face justice who got away with abducting children, raping little girls, and mutilating people's faces for 26 years," says Russell.

And this is the year to make it happen.

Thanks to the efforts of Russell and Invisible Children, the US government last year committed 100 military advisor join the Ugandan army to help train and co-ordinate Kony's capture.

But that support could be withdrawn at any moment if public opinion does not keep decision-makers committed.

KONY 2012 may do the trick.

As of Wednesday night, #stopkony was one of the most tweeted topics globally.

Late Wednesday, Channel Seven's Weekend Sunrise program announced it would be departing from its usual format this Sunday for a special on #Kony2012, also asking its viewers to mass in Martin Place, Sydney, from 8:30am.

Invisible Children's organisers have targetted April 20 as a day of global action, where supporters will paper their cities with "hundreds of thousands of posters demanding justice". More than 50,000 Australians have reportedly already signed up.

Of course, with publicity comes criticism, and many internet users are now questioning the transparency of Invisible Children's fundraising efforts, the amount of money it dedicates to its programs and where that money actually goes.

Others ask why Joseph Kony, when so many other dictators and murderers have run wild - particularly in Africa - for decades?

My castle.

Hello people. I'm back. With news. Might be stale news to some of you but it's still news regardless.

I HAVE MOVED IN TO THE HOUSE! YAY! Moved in on my birthday, 12th of January. How's that for a birthday present??

Even though the house was ready, there was heaps to be done. For example the landscaping. We don't even have toilet paper holder in the toilets. 1.5 months later, the house is now fitted with the necessity.  (I'm so good with the powerdrill my Mum would be impressed) Now we've got the heated towel rails installed, internet working, shelves in the bathroom and ensuite. The living area is coming along nicely, all that is left is more unpacking, rearranging some furniture, painting a few feature walls and hanging all the artworks on the wall. 

The landscaping for the front and backyard has been done. Now all that is left is to get more plants and some fruit trees. Might grow some vegies too.

It would've been good to get everything done by now but there was lots of ideas on how to treat walls, lights and accessorise the house and it is just impossible to get all of them done at once. Impossible financially. It's crazy, I reckon even if I have a printer that print $100 notes, they won't dry in time at the rate I'm going. I am taking a step back now, slow down and take my time. Slowly but surely aye? 

Anyway, I'm gonna sign out for now. I'm not uploading any photos yet because I'd rather do that once everything is done. So stay tuned...

P/S: For now, my (not-so) little pup, Ruckus, will keep you company. Cute isn't he?
